Our programmable LED signs, using the USB drive to upload programs(scrolling texts,images, LOGOs…) to the sign, but I found that many buyers are confused about the role and use of USB drive. Listing several common questions, to help buyers to understand the USB drive.

Q1: U DISK IS THE ROLE OF UPLOADING PROGRAMS
U disk is a USB Flash drive, an external flash drive, small enough to carry on a key ring, that can be used with any computer that has a USB port. USB drive=USB disk=U-disk=thumb drive, It has different names in different documents.

Now led sign uses U disk to upload the program, Note that it is “upload”, not “store”.
The program of the sign is edited on the computer, then transport program into the sign with U disk, U disk is a transport tool. After the U disk is inserted, the sign reads it, meantime display “Updating…” on the LED panel. When reading finish, Sign display new program from U disk, At this time, please remove U disk.

Q2:U disk doesn’t work
There are several reasons:
1.Please use u disk in the accessory, Other U disks may not work.
2.Need to use the software to produce the program，and then export to u disk, At last, insert it to sign.
3.Please insert  U disk when the sign is showing programs.
4.after insertion, U disk copy time is about 10 seconds, then, the light u disk will light, sign show “u disk updating”.After showing the program, unplug u disk.

Q3: nothing in U disk
“To udisk” is the button of software HDPlayer, it is used to send（upload）program to your u disk.
After using the “To udisk” feature, there is a folder on u disk called “firmware”or”HDPlayerUsbExport”.
Notes:
1.I guess you didn’t use the “To Udisk” button.
2.Click “To udisk” To let you select the path of u disk. Can you find your u disk?
3.Did you use u disk I gave and formatted it by fat32?

Q4: how to upload a text program to sign step by step follow video?
Record all the computer operations, including the export program to the U disk.
